Cornell Big Red | Men’s Lax 2018
Cornell’s lacrosse began as a group of students playing an informal game and has grown into the most talked about lacrosse programs in collegiate history.
With numerous championships and advances to national semifinal games, without a doubt, Cornell’s “Big Red” program is among the nation’s elite.
This year alone, these men, as a team, have had

Enough talk about game stats, let’s talk about how amazing of a 2018 season these men have had!
With their 2018 record standing at an overall 13-5, Big Red made it to through the Ivy League Tournament with two wins against Brown University (7-4) and Yale University (14-8). Moving on to the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Tournament was a definite. On May 13th, Big Red took a win against Syracuse University, but it wasn’t easy. With a close call, the men too a win to progress in the tournament (10-9).
On May 20th, their season came to an end, facing-off against University of Maryland. The game was one to remember, action packed, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. With a game ending score of 13-8 in Maryland’s favor, the stats of the game were nothing shy of impressive.
